Adventure - it’s in the name
Adventure Motorcycle riding (or ADV for short) is one of the most demanding sports when it comes to the durability requirements of the gear. Riders often cover hundreds of miles a day for weeks or months at a time going through the roughest roads on earth. The constant exposure to the elements takes a toll on rider, bike and gear. From dusty roads to sandy beaches, salt spray, rain, mud and everything in between the luggage and gear has to be able to handle all the elements. In addition, even a low speed ‘get off’ (a rider’s euphemism for a minor crash) can destroy lesser gear in an instant. Designing and building the gear to handle this kind of riding requires deep knowledge of materials and construction, intelligent design and countless hours of testing.
