Voltaic Marine is aiming to turn the wake sports world on it’s head. Combining an electric power plant with an all aluminum hull, the AEW24 just might be the cleanest powered vessel on the water. Not only does the lack of emissions and fuel spills keep the water and air free of hydrocarbons, but unlike fiberglass boats the AEW24 does not shed micro plastics into the waterways. In addition, years from now when the AEW24 reaches the end of it’s life the hull can be recycled rather than put in a landfill. It’s the circular economy in motion.
